Roadtrip Day 27 - Boston
Wharfies down at the Boston docks
Boston - 250,000 uni students are in Boston across approximately 80 universities. That's a lot.
The largest employer in Boston is the Boston Medical Hospital that employs 160,000 people. That's a lot too!
Their are a lot of hospitals in Boston. I reckon it must be full of doctors.
I bet even this ship (The Constitution) has a doctor on its crew.
This is the oldest commissioned warship in the US navy. Every year they take it out into the harbour and it shoots a 21 cannon salute! That's a lot of cannons!
That's a lot of buildings!
A lot of you are probably sick of my narrations by now! That's a lot! But ... this is a lot of water! With a lot of little boats sailing on it (you may have to look hard, a lot). They are covering the entire entrance to the river...
This cargo ship was not impressed by the lot of sailboats covering the harbour and it blew its horn.... a lot... Count all of the containers it is carrying. That's a lot of containers.
Sam Adams. Famous for brewing a lot of beer. Also famous for freedom fighting and instigating the American Revolution.
Boston Common and a lot of trees.
