Lake Louise Tramline Hike
The start of our journey. We planned to hike up to Chateau Lake Louise from Lake Louise Village. An easy 4.5k.
Mt Temple in the distance
I wisely let Lou and Sonya trailblaze their way through bear country. They were completely fearless.
A purty little stream
Lake Louise Ski Area
The trail was still quite snowed under and icy. Any misplaced step and you'd find yourself up to your knees in snow and/or icy water, hence the reason why this shot is on an angle - it's hard to take a picture and watch where you're going at the same time.
Another creek....
...complete with rocks and water
Mt Temple getting closer
One of the glaciers... not too sure which

It was a pretty cool trail

Finally! Lake Louise!
Seeing as we made it to the Lake we thought we may as well go to the far end - it was just another 3k. The view across the lake on the way.
This was way cool! A huge waterfall just erupted out of the mountain directly opposite us and ran for 10 minutes before drying up and disappearing again. We thought it was a plane or an avalanche at first. To put it in persepective checkout the sice of the pine trees in the photo.
The other side of the lake
Cool frozen waterfalls
Huge trees guarding a funky looking cliff.
