November - Paris, France on the Eurostar (made sure we got First Class tickets again - yes!) and Prague, Czech Republic;

December - Christmas in Austria finishing up in Zurich, Switzerland; and

March 2007 - Arabba, Italy for a week of chalet living, snowboarding fun with about 10 of our mates.

The Porters!

Barry and Sue are currently travelling around Europe and had several days in London! Baz had a craving for Indian so we took them and Barry's niece Angela and her hubby Michael to Brick Lane. They hadn't seen any thing like it. The end result after some crazy wheeling and dealing - 35% off the meal, first round of drinks free, and no service charge "Go Lou!".

Sue, Angela, Lou, Rob & BarryIt was a great night filled with lots of interesting travel stories. (Sue we've booked Copenhagen after your recommendation. And thanks for texting us to let us know you got home on the tube okay!)

Be warned Spain and France, Barry Mania coming soon to a place near you!

Australia & New Zealand

The 25th August 2006 was the starting date for our crazy adventure back to Oz with a holiday to NZ thrown in for good measure.

17 days which involved:

* 51 hours of flight time (or 70 hours if you include check in time, stopovers and customs)
* 6 trips to Brisbane airport within 15 days (we were on first name basis with customs)
* 10 duty free opportunities
* 1 wedding
* 5 days straight of snowboarding
* 2 bungy jumps
* 36 holes of mini golf
* 12 tube rides
* 10 luge rides
* 2 BBQ's
* 5 kilos prawns (yummy)
* 6,000,000 litres of alcohol consumption (no exaggeration)

Needless to say we had a great time. A couple of days were spent with Lou's family in BrisneyLand, then up to Mackay to see the Penridge's. Back to Brissie for the nuptials of Scott and Kerri Fraser and to catch up with friends at the reception (it was so nice to see everyone). Then it was onto to NZ for a week of snow fun in Queenstown. We arrived back from NZ just in time for some more food, wine, port, champagne before heading back to the airport for our flight to London.
